Off-Piste Skiing: La Grave
Is this the right course for me?
La Grave is a small village in the Dauphine Alps, made famous by the largest lift-accessed off-piste skiing area in the world, with 2150 vertical metres of skiing. The cable-car takes you to 3200m, where the choice of descent is huge, varying from gentle to spectacular, vast open terrain to thickly wooded slopes. A day ticket gives unlimited use of the cable car.
The fitness level required depends on what you want to achieve, but as a minimum you will need fitness level 1. You will also need a minimum of ski ability level 2. Please see the Essential Information for Skiing page for fitness and skiing ability levels.
