Read MoreLast day with Tim and Lynne Rees, and aspirant Guide Neil Mackay. We went over the Col des Crochues and Col de Bérard, and skied the beautiful Bérard valley to Le Buet. We finished off a great week with a couple of runs off piste at Le Tour.
Read MoreBlue skies, powder snow and a temperature inversion - another beautiful day with Lynne, Tim and Neil. Today we went for a ski tour up into the Argentière basin under the dramatic north face of the Aiguille Verte, Les Droites, and Les Courtes. Then we skinned up the glacier du Tour Noir to the Col d' Argentière at 3552m. Well done to the team. :-)
Read MoreAfter a week of wall to wall sunshine it was a bit of a shock to have some mist today. This is a new crag for me - Shelter Crag just below Three Tarns on Bowfell. Great venue, did two routes, the best one being 'The Big Issue' grade IV/5, 3 stars. Good fun with Russell Fralick.
