Skiing La Vallée Blanche, 24th March 2016

When I work out in Chamonix, I stay with my good friends, the Smith family. They have blessed me beyond measure over the years with their warm welcome and generous hospitality, so any opportunity to give something back is great. I needed to get on skis before starting work on Friday, so we (Pete, Cathie, and their son Pierre) loaded up with our skiing kit and headed up the Aiguille du Midi cable car. Pete and Cathie have both skied the Vallée Blanche before, but it was a first for Pierre. We were able to most of the way down to the valley, and walked through the woods back to the house.
